BLAIRLOGIE clients will take a step back in time with rehearsals in full swing for their end-of-year production.
Members of the Cranbourne disability support centre have designed the entire production that will visit different eras of music and will be staged on Friday 21 November.
Support co-ordinator Rebecca Barter said the drama group met each Tuesday and this was the first year they had put the production together on their own.
“We used to outsource it, but we’ve since taken it over,” she said.
“Clients have a lot more involvement.”
Members have come up with everything from the music to the script and look forward to their fourth production.
“They sat down and planned the lines, how they will dance on stage and more,” she said.
“They have really grown as a group.”
“Each year it gets bigger and better.”
Around 120 clients attend Blairlogie which is a not-for-profit organisation that supports adults with a disability.
