TRAIN-ENTHUSIASTS from around the state flocked to the Cardinia Cultural Centre on the weekend for Pakenham’s Big Little Train Show.
About 1600 people visited the exhibition, the first stand-alone train show for organisers Rob and Annette O’Connor who regularly hold hobby and craft shows at the venue.
Mr O’Connor said the event proved a big hit, with everyone enjoying the various model train layouts, displays and trade stands on show.
“It was a resounding success,” he said.
“There was a lot of interest shown.
“We had the mini-steam trade on Sunday and that was flat out.”
The O’Connors will hold a hobby and craft show at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in May.
