Arrests after raid

FOUR men from Pakenham, Officer and Donvale have been arrested following early morning home raids by anti-bikie unit, Taskforce Echo.
A 27-year-old Officer man and 29-year-old Donvale man were arrested in relation to a non-fatal shooting in Carrum Downs on at about 1.30pm on Saturday 1 October.
A 39-year-old Cranbourne man was shot in Robinson Road, Carrum Downs and later found with gunshot wounds to his leg.
A 22-year-old Pakenham man and a 19-year-old Pakenham woman were also arrested during the raids.
Police apprehended the pair in relation to drug offences, not the shooting.
All parties are assisting with police investigations.
Police began raiding a home in The Circuit, Pakenham before 8.30am on Wednesday 12 October, and went on to raid unknown addresses in Officer, Hallam, Dandenong South and Donvale.
They arrived in unmarked police cars, wearing bullet-proof vests and were seen taking away several bags of evidence from within the home in The Circuit, Pakenham.
A black Chrysler was also seized. Police dogs were on scene.
It was reported Echo taskforce officers used a megaphone to summon the Donvale man from his home earlier in the morning.
