The Berwick Springs Junior Football Club brought the community together in a spectacular show of spirit and generosity on Sunday 22 June, hosting the second annual Titans Slidin’ for MND fundraiser.
With sliders braving the icy plunge, the event raised more than $20,000 for MND Victoria — supporting people living with Motor Neurone Disease.
The evening was packed with entertainment and heart, featuring food trucks, face painting for kids (and the young at heart), a buzzing photo booth, and a live auction offering a range of fantastic prizes. But the real highlight of the night was the iconic ice slide, which saw a lineup of local heroes taking the chilly plunge in support of a great cause.
Rana Hussain, founder of Good Human, Board Director at Basketball Australia, and regular on ABC’s Offsiders — brought her trademark energy and warmth as MC, keeping the crowd engaged and spirits high.
The event built on the success of its debut, reaffirming the power of local action and community fun in the fight against MND.
Every dollar raised on the night will go directly to helping individuals and families affected by MND turning cold slides into warm support.
