Carols here, there and all over

REDISCOVER the reindeer ears and mark the festive season of Christmas as the carols get cranking in Casey.
Local residents will be spoilt for choice with 10 events scheduled for the City of Casey that will include Christmas carol classics and fireworks under the stars.
City of Casey mayor Mick Morland has encouraged everyone to get along to one of these events which promises to be a great night out.
“What better way to celebrate Christmas than at one of your local Christmas carols,” he said.
“The events all provide for a wonderful night out with family and friends including entertainment and activities, food and drink stalls, special visits from Santa, and of course, beloved Christmas carols to sing-along to.”
Cr Morland said that between 6 December and Christmas Eve community groups across the area would host events open for all families to get involved with.
“Christmas is a great time to come together with family, friends, neighbours and the community and the carols events are a great opportunity to do just that,” he said.
“Pack a picnic and rug, gather your loved ones and enjoy a night out under the stars at one of the many locations across Casey,” he said.
Carols will take place in Narre Warren South, Doveton, Endeavour Hills, Narre Warren North, Cranbourne, Hampton Park, Berwick and Tooradin.
