POLICE have charged two men and uncovered more than $60,000 worth of stolen goods following a search in Berwick last week.
Police raided a house in Cullen Close on Friday and arrested a 21-year-old and 25-year-old man at the address.
They found a substantial amount of stolen jewellery, watches, bags, cameras and DVD at the house.
The 21-year-old man was charged with four counts of burglary, attempted burglary, four counts of theft and for using a drug of dependence.
The other man was charged with eight counts of burglary, eight counts of theft and one count of attempted burglary.
The men were remanded in custody to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court this week.
Police have identified the owners for some of the goods but are urging anyone who has had items stolen, particularly watches and jewellery in recent months to contact Constable Alanna Goldsack at Casey Crime Investigation Unit on 9705 3111.
