More questions than answers

Why do we need a cultural centre in Casey?
Do we really need to keep up with the Joneses.
Why not talk to our neighbouring councils and utilize their cultural centre, surley we do not need three just miles apart?
Why does Casey council think it has to have the best of everything?
A 7.5 per cent increase in rates this year you would think about less spending and think about lowering the rates to ratepayers.
After all the first thing councillors did when elected in 2008 and 2012 was to give themselves a payrise without doing anything.
Councillor Aziz, it was stated by council when you arrived back from your junket in China that it was a success.
I ask council how much money has flowed into Casey since Cr Aziz’s return?
It was Cr Aziz, after all, who stated he was going to stamp out overseas travel by councillors before being relected.
I also hear Mr Paul Richardson is fighting his gag on asking questions in council? I believe he is taking it to VCAT.
If so, will council be represented by lawyers at ratepayers expense?
I have been to council meetings on many occasions and have signed Mr Richardson’s questions so they will be read out in council and I have signed an affidavit to state that for his VCAT hearing.
Why do council want to gag him? Because you all think he is a nuisance for asking questions which embarrass council and the CEO for wrongdoings.
Boy, I have missed writing to the opinion page.
