STUDENTS at Narre Warren South P-12 College got a visit from some friends of the four-legged variety earlier this month.
The event was all part of the school’s ongoing sponsorship with Seeing Eye Dogs Australia.
Students from prep to grade four have raised money each year to sponsor a dog in training to become an aide for someone visually impaired.
This year the youngsters are sponsoring Cheree and everyone at the school got to meet the newest addition during a recent visit.
To raise the $300 needed for the sponsorship the students bought a sausage in bread and a dog-shaped biscuit dipped in chocolate.
