NARRE North Foxes Junior Football Club has appointed two experienced coaches to lead the club’s talented under-16 and under-15 teams this season.
Last year’s Narre Warren senior coach Paul Hamilton will take charge of the older group, while Greg Young will mentor the promising under-15 players.
The club, which shares the facilities with the senior club at Kalora Park in Fox Road, is committed to the development of football and young people in the local community and has grown significantly since starting in 1996 with one team.
This year organisers anticipate that 15 teams will be fielded with sides in all age groups from under nines to under 16s in the Dandenong and District Junior Football League.
Both coaches are looking forward to the challenge of developing their young footballers and helping them make the transition to senior football.
The senior Narre Warren club has committed to working with junior clubs in the City of Casey to assist the development of juniors and new coach and former St Kilda star, Austinn Jones, will attend the Foxes registration day on Sunday, 12 February, from 11am to 3pm. A second registration evening will also be held on Tuesday, 14 February between 5pm and 7pm.
