FAMILY and children’s services professionals have been invited to participate in the City of Casey’s 2006 Family and Children’s Services conference – The Windmill – on Friday, 7 April.
City of Casey community services director Jennie Lee said the setting – Myuna Farm in Doveton – would bring a fresh energy to the conference.
The conference is open to professionals across the family and children’s services sector.
Ms Less said anyone working with local families and children should make a point of being there.
“The Windmill conference is a rare opportunity for Casey’s many family and children’s services professionals to build relationships with other service providers, network and discuss the various issues that are facing the industry and the Casey community.”
The conference will include key note addresses, networking, trade displays and a choice of workshops covering areas such as child language development, the role of fathers and much more.
The conference cost is $100 for the full day, including lunch, or $60 for the half day.
Registrations and full payment is due on Wednesday, 5 April 2006.
