Car smashed at police station

ENDEAVOUR Hills police were seeking public assistance after a marked police car was damaged while it was parked in front of the Heatherton Road police station.
The damage occurred about 10.25pm on Friday, 10 February when the windscreen of the police car was smashed.
Senior Sergeant Mike Jenkins, of Endeavour Hills police, said it was a belligerent act of criminal stupidity that could have affected public safety by reducing the station’s patrol capacity.
The station has three marked police vehicles and is in the process of applying for extra cars.
The damaged vehicle was fixed next day and is now back in use.
Any person with information was urged to ring Endeavour Hills police station on 9709 7666 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
