THE refurbished Pakenham Outdoor Pool is continuing to prove popular with thousands of residents making a splash at the facility during the hot summer months.
Between the start of summer and last Sunday 4679 people had gone through the turnstiles, with a record 550 choosing to cool off there on Saturday when the mercury soared into the high 30s.
A total of 5958 locals have flocked to the pool since opening celebrations on 17 November.
