THE Pakenham Racing Club’s annual Super Jumps race day was a great success on and off the track.
Race fans were treated to plenty of action while children and families enjoyed a host of entertainment around the racecourse.
The Equine Expo, which was based near the mounting yard, hosted demonstrations and talks by farriers, acupuncturists, dentists, veterinarians and equine masseurs.
Included in the expo were many equestrian-related trade stalls for people to purchase goods or educational material.
Pakenham Racing Club chairman Don Duffy said the day was a great success.
“We are delighted with the local support we received and are keen to further develop this day as a highlight of the jumps racing calendar,” he said.
