CARDINIA residents swapped cars for bicycles yesterday (Wednesday) morning as part of national Ride to Work day.
Locals pedalled their way to the Pakenham Plaza car park for a special breakfast as part of the celebrations.
Central Ward councillor Bill Ronald was one of many who opted to leave their car at home, preferring to ride his penny farthing up and down Main Street.
The community breakfast was one of more than 70 held across the country for the annual event which attracted more than 60,000 participants.
