Another stabbing in Melbourne’s southeast has left a young man fighting for his life, as knife crime continues to rise.
Emergency services were called to McGregor Road in Pakenham about 1.15am on Wednesday, January 14, after a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds.
Ambulance Victoria dispatched Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedics, who assessed and treated one patient at the scene.
He was transported by road ambulance to hospital with upper body injuries in a serious condition.
Victoria Police are yet to establish what has occurred but confirmed an investigation is underway.
