Five times over

At about 3.30pm on Saturday 25 May, officers from Pakenham located a 30-year-old man who tested five-times over the limit.

Found asleep in his vehicle on the side of the road in the Pakenham area, police had been called by several members of the public to search for the vehicle after it was observed allegedly swerving all over the road and colliding with a pole.

After locating and speaking to the man, an evidentiary breath test was conducted where the result was a BAC of 0.251.

The man’s licence was immediately cancelled and a notice to surrender his vehicle has been served. He will also attend court later in the year.
