PAKENHAM is set to go ga ga for National Babies Day on Friday, 21 October.
Target Pakenham will be selling mini bonnie bears, wristbands, soothers, lanyards, badges, pens, keyrings and lapel pins at their cash registers in an effort to raise muchneeded funds for babies born prematurely and those who die shortly after birth.
The day, organised by The Bonnie Babes Foundation, helps families Australiawide in need of support.
The foundation is conducting the Bonnie Child of the Year competition, open to all children aged zero to six.
The judging will be conducted on 14 December to establish an overall winner in each of the competitions six categories.
Applications should include one to five snapshots of each entrant, plus a brief explanation about why they are so special to the person entering them. Phone 9758 2800 for an application form.
