STEVE Waugh will launch Victoria’s first Blooms The Chemist pharmacy at Cranbourne Park, Cranbourne on Saturday, March 28. In his new role as ambassador for the dynamic Australian pharmacy group, Steve will appear in-store between 12pm and 1pm to meet and greet fans and sign select copies of his latest book.

CRANBOURNE Park Shopping Centre will reveal its multimillion dollar redevelopments this Thursday, with the doors open all day. Head along to the centre on High Street for a day filled with activities.

Art Space is open
ONE of Casey’s new art spaces is getting set to host two exhibitions in one space as part of a new and exciting council venture. The Civic Centre Art Space will host the artworks and Mayor Mick Morland encourages the community to come along and experience some local talents. Civic Centre Art Space, Casey Council Offices, Narre Warren, until Friday 27 March.

Choir needs singers
THE Casey U3A Singers is in need of more singers, particularly male tenor voices. Rehearsals are held on Thursday afternoons from 3pm to 4.30pm, except on the fourth Thursday of each month, at Fiddler’s Green Retirement Village, 57 Gloucester Avenue, Berwick. Busy seniors
NARRE Warren Seniors are eagerly looking forward to a very busy month in April. On Wednesday 1 April the group will have savoury and sweet pancakes for lunch, followed by an Easter Bonnet parade and bingo. On Wednesday 8 April the guest speaker will be Gerard Quigley, of Radio fame, speaking on behalf of Arthritis Australia. The entertainer Gavin Chatelier will bring the afternoon to a bright musical finish. Pink Gala
THE Young Pink Sisters will hold their annual Gala dinner at the Cranbourne Golf Club in May and they want you to come along. The pink tie gala dinner will take place on Saturday 16 May from 6.30pm until 1am. Held in order to thank families, friends and partners for their love and support. THE Hallam Community Learning Centre is hosting a Trash and Treasure Day this weekend, Saturday 28 March, from 9am to 2pm, at the Hallam Community Learning Centre, 56 Kays Avenue, Hallam. Cost is $10 per stall and $5 for trestle hire.
