WITH time enough to recover from the swimming sports, Lakeside Lutheran College students put their best foot forward on 2 March with the YMCA Community Fun Run.
A number of students took part in the five kilometre run, which started directly outside the college and looped around Lakeside, taking in various parts of the local area.
Similar to their swimming performances, students outdid themselves, with an honourable mention to Jamie for placing in the top 10, and students Josh, Christian and Matt for running their fastest five kilometre.
Mr Wilson from the college was the best staff member, taking out the overall first place for the event.
The college holds regular training sessions for its students and staff to help improve fitness and wellbeing.
Talented committed students have the opportunity to improve their skills and participate in events to benefit their physical growth and development.
