POLICE are appealing for the public’s help following a spate of thefts from cars across Pakenham.
At about 2.40am on 28 July, a 2008 Holden Astra was alleged broken into on Broadhurst Road.
Police said a GPS valued at $200 was stolen from the car which was unlocked at the time.
On the same night police report, a Ford was broken into on Oaklands Way and sunglasses worth $500 were stolen. The car was also unlocked.
Between 5pm on 27 July and 3am on 28 July, a car was broken into in Belvedere Court in Gembrook but nothing was stolen.
In Melissa Way, a ute was broken into and sunglasses were stolen.
There were also burglaries in Cherry Blossom Chase, Olivia Court and Elderberry Way.
In these incidents, clothes, towels and sunglasses were stolen.
A handbag was also stolen from a car in Syme Road as well.
Police are investigating whether there is any link between the series of thefts from cars in Pakenham and similar offences committed between 24 and 25 July.
In Caitlyn Drive, an Apple iPad was stolen and in Highview court an iPhone was stolen from a car.
There were also burglaries from cars in Thwaites Road, Craft Court and Tipperary Court.
