ROB Davey from Pakenham’s Evergreen Turf has won a prestigious industry award.
Mr Davey won the president’s leadership award at a recent turfgrass producers’ convention in the United States.
He is only the fourth recipient of the award and the first international member of the Turfgrass Producers International to receive the honour.
The award was presented by TPI president Warren Bell at the association’s annual business meeting in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr Bell said Mr Davey’s individual commitment and unwavering dedication to the turfgrass industry had been demonstrated time and again.
