AN ongoing Pakenham charity event put local schoolchildren’s fitness to the test, raising $1000.
The total raised was finally tallied following the Pakenham Push-ups for Charity Event at Officer Primary School earlier this year.
Some 145 students participated in the challenging fitness fund-raiser and completed 8743 push-ups in 90 seconds.
The initiative is run by Robb Evans from Studioz Personal Training with all funds going to Make-A-Wish Australia, helping children with life threatening illnesses.
