By Aneeka Simonis

TWO men have been left with serious facial injuries after they were allegedly punched and kicked by a pair of youths in Pakenham.
Police are hunting for the pair believed to be responsible for the violent attack.
At about 12.10am on Sunday 4 December, two men believed to be aged in their twenties approached two older men in Lyle Blue Court, Pakenham, just near the Princes Highway fast food restaurants.
The offenders are believed to have begun repeatedly punching and kicking the victims – men aged 30 and 31 – causing injuries to their face.
Police are awaiting the victims’ medical reports to determine the seriousness of their injuries, but believe they may have suffered broken facial bones.
The altercation is believed to have started after a verbal incident.
Police have released CCTV images of the two men whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.
The first man is perceived to be in his late teens or early twenties, wearing a dark baseball cap, black and grey jumper and a thick chain.
The second man is perceived to be in his late teens, or early twenties wearing a white Adidas jumper, and dark baseball cap.
If you have any information in relation to the assault or the identity of the males, please contact Detective Senior Constable Sheree Osborne at Cardinia CIU on 5945 2585 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
