GARFIELD GOLF
Garfield’s poor course water storage was one of the main beneficiaries of a huge dump of rain throughout Wednesday which was very well received by many throughout the region.
There were a number of scratchings from Thursday’s par event which ended up with a field of 83.
Just six players ended up matching their handicap for the day and it was Paul Keysers coming out on top winning the B Grade event with a nice round of +4 by a countback from an inform Aaron McQualter.
Darren Grayson also had a nice round getting the A Grade victory by a countback from Heath Barclay, both regulars in this column, with a great round of +2.
