An unbeaten half-century from Pakenham Upper Toomuc’s Nick Kyval has steered the Yabbies to their second win of the summer.
In reply to Cranbourne Meadows’ 10/134, Kyval blasted 73 from number three as Pakenham Upper Toomuc chased down the total inside 28 overs.
It was a typical Rebels match, with the home side batting less than 30 overs for its first innings total before doing the same with the ball.
Kyval delivered with the ball too, collecting 3/38 from him eight overs.
The Yabbies now sit two wins clear of last-placed Gembrook.
Devon Meadows, meanwhile, resumed its post as the benchmark of one-day cricket by thrashing Emerald.
By batting just 9.5 overs last week, the match between the Panthers and Bombers was recalibrated to a one-day match at the weekend.
