Snipers start with a bang

The finest flingers of tungsten have returned to the oche with the South West Gippsland Darts League back up and running for 2022.

The Snipers had the radar dialled in, giving the slow-starting Middels a 12-3 thumping on night one of competition.

Other big winners included the Warriors over Gembrook and Rebels over Mud Rats, while the close match in the opening round of the season saw Just Social score a thrilling 8-7 win over Paky One.

Competition is played on Tuesday nights with the action beginning at 7.30pm and taking place at the following home venues for each team:

Cardinia Club – Paky One, Warriors, Gembrook, Snipers and Mud Rats. Kooweerup Hotel – Just Social. Middels Restaurant – Middels. Warragul Railway Hotel – Rebels.
