More retail on way for Pakenham

More retailers are heading for Pakenham with a new development at 8 Portobello Road set to feature Repco, Pillow Talk and Fernwood Fitness.

The centre, located opposite Dan Murphy’s at Lakeside, is now under construction and still has one site up for lease.

Gill Property Group’s Ian Robertson confirmed the site is expected to be completed by July 2026, highlighting it was an exciting addition to the many existing retailers nearby.

The $8mil proposal was initially lodged with Cardinia Shire in 2024 with subsequent ‘Plans to Comply’ (change or extension of use, one or more new buildings) also submitted with one as recent as September.

Repco is set to be situated closer to the Princes Highway while Pillow Talk (ground floor) and Fernwood (first floor) will be near Olympic Way.
