Delicious and decadent Christmas treats

Pakenham Senior Citizens Club’s Christmas In July was a very enjoyable event, thanks to the efforts of the committee, with colourful decorations and delicious and decadent treats.

Welcome back to come of the sickies and best wishes to those not well. It is appreciated when you stay away when not feeling well.

Good news is that the trading table is reopening. This has been part of the club since inception. It will be held on 8 August, with finger food from 11am to 1pm.

Hoi will be held on 12 August from 12.30pm, with lots of grocery prizes and sweets.

As usual, Monday lunches are followed by bingo and cards.

Cards are also played Thursdays from 11am to 2.30pm.

Carpet bowls are played on Saturdays from 1pm.

Nominations are open for office bearers for the 2025-26 year. The AGM will be held on Monday 25 August.

Anyone who is over 55 can join the Pakenham Senior Citizens Club and make new friends.

Anyone interested is welcome to call in at 38 James Street on any Monday morning, or by phoning 5941 1297.

The rooms are also available for rental.
