Thunder lands at Gippsland Jersey

Though it was a pristine sunny day over the weekend, lightning struck Pakenham with Marvel hero Thor visiting locals at Gippsland Jersey.

Free milkshakes were enjoyed on Superhero Saturday at both Homestead Cafe in Heritage Springs and Gippsland Jersey’s factory and cafe outlet on Purton Road.

The day was organised by the local milk producer, who served over 300 milkshakes at both locations.

Families enjoyed a visit from the titular Norse god-turned-superhero in Marvel Comics.

Many children proved their worthiness by lifting Thot’s hammer Mjolnir over their favourite milkshake.

With lines out the door in both locations, the day showed excellent support for the newly local Gippsland Jersey by residents of Pakenham and surrounds.
