Easter fun festival

The Cardinia Cultural Centre (CCC) came alive during the April school holidays, as families came together for a fun-filled day packed with colour, creativity, and community spirit.

Held on April 12, the event featured the energetic family show Fritz, which took centre stage in the afternoon, drawing laughs and delight from children and parents alike.

The day was designed with young audiences in mind, combining live entertainment with hands-on activities that kept kids engaged.

The festivities kicked off in the morning with a free drop-in arts and crafts session where children were invited to make their own Easter hats and costumes using sustainable materials provided by the CCC team.

The crafting space was a hive of activity, as kids let their imaginations run wild with glitter, feathers, and recycled treasures.

A highlight of the day was the Easter Hat and Costume Parade, which saw children showing their creative designs down a red carpet in the afternoon. Proud parents and cheering crowds lined the parade route, snapping photos and applauding the vibrant and imaginative outfits.

Throughout the day, families took part in a scavenger hunt around the venue and a colouring competition, with a range of exciting prizes up for grabs.
