Woman struck in hit-run

Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a vehicle in Pakenham on 31 January.

It is believed the woman was crossing at the pedestrian crossing at Pakenham Central Marketplace about 10.38am when she was struck by a vehicle.

She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Initially, the vehicle fled the scene, but police have since located the driver.

The investigation remains ongoing.
