A holiday to remember

Cardinia Park Hotel in Beaconsfield hosted their first and successful Christmas event on December 15.

The holiday spirit was alive and well at Cardinia Park Hotel this past Sunday, as families and friends gathered to celebrate the Bistro’s annual Christmas Fun Day. With stunning weather gracing the event, the atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as guests enjoyed a day packed with festive activities.

The day kicked off with a special visit from Santa Claus, who arrived in style alongside the local Country Fire Authority (CFA). The CFA brought along their fire engine, which became a highlight for many kids, who were thrilled to see the big red truck up close.

The excitement continued at the craft station, where children channelled their creativity into festive projects. The face painting booth was another popular attraction, with young ones while the talented balloon artist kept the fun going with colourful creations that brought smiles all around.

The event featured kids eat free vouchers, live music from High End Riff Raff that delighted attendees throughout the day. Local musicians strummed holiday Favorites, adding to the festive atmosphere, and encouraging guests to sing along.

“The live music was definitely a win! It made the day feel even more special,” said one delighted parent.

Overall, the Christmas Fun Day at Cardinia Park Hotel was a resounding success, drawing in a wonderful crowd and creating cherished memories for families. With great food, festive activities, and a sense of community, it was a perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

As the Bistro reflects on the event, plans are already in the works for next year’s celebration, promising even more festive fun for the community.

“Thank you to everyone who joined in the festivities and made this year’s Christmas Fun Day one to remember!”
