Lang Lang alarmed at CERT house going on market

Lang Lang locals are alarmed as the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) house is being sold.

A real estate sign appeared in front of the house used by CERT volunteers on Carnarvon Street Lang Lang on Tuesday 12 November, the Gazette confirmed that the property is going on the market.

It is not known as of yet if a future residence is being planned to house the volunteer force, Lang Lang community groups have been notified of the development and are currently looking into the matter.

The action could make many locals nervous as frustrations already exist around emergency response in the Lang Lang area, in particular around police presence.

The Gazette is currently investigating the matter and further reports will follow.
