18 CFA units alongside FRV responded to reports of a fire on Nine Mile Road in Cora Lynn on Thursday 14 November around 2.05pm.
Crews discovered a rubbish pile on fire.
A community advice message was issued for smoke.
The incident was declared safe at 5:49pm.
