Probus members remember the fallen

With Remembrance Day around the corner, 22 members of the Probus Club of Pakenham visited the Shrine of Remembrance.

On Friday 20 September, the members took a bus to the Shrine, were taken on a tour and had morning tea.

Members said they learnt a number of new things during the tour, including when and why it was built, information about the galleries and exhibits and how they could look up their relatives on a database and receive a service certificate.

They then had free time to wander the shrine before heading to the Rosstown Hotel in Carnegie for lunch.
