The Pakenham Library and Community Hall was transformed into a festival of lights for the Hindu Diwali festival on Sunday 15 September.
Organised by local makeup artist Sapna Kapila and her husband Nitish, the event welcomed people from across the South East to enjoy dancing, food stalls and other cultural attractions.
Sapna said more than 300 people attended the event.
“Everybody had a lot of fun,” she said.
