Farewell but not forever for Vanille

Husband and wife Pascal and Martine are looking forward to taking a break from Vanille Bistro after almost two decades operating in Pakenham, before relaunching the business under a new business model.

The pair are selling the Treloar Lane location to a franchise, but are excited to continue to provide delicious cakes and support their customers’ catering needs when they return.

“We wish to announce to our valued customers that after 18 years of successfully operating Vanille shops, we have made the ultimate decision to embark on a new journey,“ Martine said.

“As a result, we are currently in the final stage of a sale process which we expect will be completed at the end of the month.“

Pascal said he and Martine are excited to take their two young children on a caravan trip around Australia.

“It was the right time to take a break,“ he said.

Martine said saying farewell to customers they serve every day will be bittersweet.

“We take this opportunity to express our gratitude and sincerely thank all our long time customers for their patronage and friendship throughout the years,“ she said.

“Your loyalty and trust in the Vanille brand is invaluable.

“Vanille is an accomplished business brand which will proudly remain with us.

“Last but not least, we wish to acknowledge the efforts and hard work of our staff and we thank them for their contribution to our success.“
