Social bikie group riding high

The roar of motorbikes could be heard down Princes Highway in Pakenham on Saturday 13 July, as part of a Redback Riders Social Motorcycle Group meet.

Group president Barry said a number of South East riders started the group about five years ago, with the group growing to more than 20 members.

“We go for weekends away across various country locations,” he said.

The group pulled over for a cuppa and a chat at Lilin and Co in Pakenham before setting off again for the ride across the South East.

Barry said anybody keen for a regular ride with a group were welcome to join.

“People are always welcome to come say hello if they see us out and about,” he said.

“Riding clears your head while you are concentrating on riding through the country roads.”
