McGregor Road closures in place

Planned detours are in place for Webster Way and McGregor Road users.

As part of the Pakenham Roads Upgrade project, the southbound lanes of McGregor Road closed will be closed to late September.

McGregor Road will be closed between Webster Way and the Princes Freeway from 5am 1 July to mid-July, then between Livingstone Boulevard and Princes Freeway from mid-July to mid-August.

During this time, there will be no right turn to Henry Road from McGregor Road.

McGregor Road will then remain closed between Webster Way and the Princes Freeway from mid-August to late September.

Both lanes of McGregor Road will be closed between Rogers Street and Henty Street from 7am on Wednesday 17 July to 7pm on Friday 16 August as part of Level Crossing Removal Project works.

Webster Way will also be closed at the intersection with McGregor Road to late September.

The Pakenham Roads Upgrade is a Federal Governmnentt initiative being delivered by Major Road Projects Victoria, with construction of Stage 1 at the Princes Freeway interchanges underway, while early works continue on McGregor Road and Racecourse Road.

The Pakenham Roads Upgrade aims to deliver reduced bottlenecks and improved traffic flow, more walking and cycling options and better connections to and from the Princes Freeway and to the town centre.
