Quenby Murphy said: “You usually can't see the aurora with the naked eye, but on Saturday night there were times when it was so strong you could see a slight pink/red haze in the sky, which is the bright pink beams you see in the photos.” Quenby captured the lights from her place in Pakenham on Saturday night with her Nikon Z30 mirrorless on the following settings: F3.5, ISO 3200, 2.5 second exposure.
