Truck collision rips up railing

A driver has been fortunate to be in a stable condition after crashing off of the Cardinia Road exit of the Princes Freeway leaving several metres of damaged guard railing.

Authorities responded at 2.33pm on Friday 26 April to a report of a crash at the beginning of the outbound exit of Cardinia Road.

Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, Fire Rescue Victoria and two units from Officer CFA responded to the crash.

CFA report that the driver was not trapped in the vehicle, after exiting they were transported by road to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.

The incident was under control at 2.41pm and deemed safe at 3.05pm.
