Witness appeal

Two teenage girls were victims of an attempted robbery that occurred at the intersection of Gene Drive and Lincoln Avenue in Officer.

Investigators believe the girls were approached by a group of youths who made demands for their property.

The perpetrators were disturbed by a dark coloured Holden utility that drove past, before driving off themselves in a white Mazda 3 along Gene Drive.

The incident occurred on Saturday 27 January, 2024 at around 7.45pm

Police would like to speak to the driver of this Holden Utility, or anyone who may have witnessed or have information regarding the incident.
