It’s only a short while before kids are back to school and parents are in the full swing back from holidays, yet local families are still making the most of it fun activities at the Pakenham Library.

Throughout the afternoon and evening of Friday 19 January, kids enjoyed the classic fun and imagination of Lego.

On Monday 22 January, children enjoyed a Bandicoot Storytime session from Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Southern Brown Bandicoot outreach officer Eilish Roberts.

The attendees enjoyed stories, learning lots of fun facts about bandicoots and getting hands-on during a craft activity.

More events are still being held at the Pakenham Library for the remainder of the holidays.

On Wednesday 24 January, Kids on Tour from the National Gallery of Victoria will come to Pakenham Library which provides free art-making activities in two sessions, 11am to 12pm for ages 5 to 10 and 3 to 4pm for ages 10-17.
