Windermere Christmas hampers set to deliver

Not for profit Windermere Child and Family Services plans to deliver over 400 helping hampers and 800 Christmas gifts to local families in need this Christmas.

“The gifts and hampers go to families we work with who we have identified as facing barriers and challenges, or who may be experiencing homelessness or family violence,” said

Marketing Manager Ari Kounoupis.

For more than 10 years, Windermere’s Merry Mission Appeal has assisted approximately 5,000 families in the local community, providing nearly 10,000 gifts and over 4,000 helping hampers to those in need.

“Thanks to the kind donations from our very generous community members and supporters we can give the families we work with a chance to receive Christmas items they wouldn’t be able to purchase otherwise,” said Ari.

Every year Windermere assists over 26,000 people with support and guidance in the areas of family and parenting, homelessness. disability services, early childhood intervention and education, and victims of crime, assault and trauma.

Windermere is also accepting cash donations to assist local families in crisis at www.windermere.org.au/donate-now
