Witness appeal after gunshot

Police are appealing for witnesses or related information after a man was injured following a shooting in Cranbourne on Thursday 26 October.

Armed Crime Squad detectives have been told the victim checked on a disturbance out the front of his Grace Street home when he came across two men and was shot about 12.40am.

The 33-year-old man, who was injured to his lower body, was taken to hospital with suspected non-life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined however police believed at this early stage it did not appear to be a random incident.
