Fire scare on Storey Drive

Fire Rescue Victoria responded to a fire scare on Storey Drive, Pakenham on the weekend, after reports of smoke coming from a roof of a vacant house.

At 1pm Saturday 26 August, FRV crews were on-scene within 5 minutes of the reports of smoke.

Authorities acted quickly quell any serious fire, as two crews donned breathing apparatus and entered the premise where they conducted an internal attack to knock down the fire in the roof space.

The incident was deemed under control at 1.23pm.

A Building Surveyor was requested to attend and inspect the scene.
