Man stabbed in Princes Hwy home

Police are investigating an incident in Pakenham involving a man being stabbed on Monday 24 July.

Officers believe a man was stabbed by another man in a residence along Princes Highway at about 6.05pm in the evening.

A 26-year-old Pakenham man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Ambulance Victoria said the man suffered upper-body injuries and was taken to Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

Police believe the parties involved in the incident are known to each other.

Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
