McGregor Road closed due to level crossing works

Pakenham motorists and commuters can expect disruptions to McGregor Road this weekend, as Level Crossing Removal works continue across road closures along the rail line.

From 6am on Friday 16 June until 6pm on Sunday 18 June, the Level Crossing Removal Authority will be conducting around the clock works at McGregor Road, as part of plans to replace the level crossings with a rail bridge and build new train stations at Pakenham and East Pakenham.

Main Street will be closed at the crossing from Monday 19 June to Thursday 22 June.

Motorists are advised to use Webster Way, Racecourse Road and the Princes Highway.

Buses will replace trains between Berwick and Pakenham from Thursday 8 June to last service on Wednesday 21 June.
