Train lines closed

Passengers on the Cranbourne, Pakenham and Gippsland lines were urged to allow extra time for their commute this morning, as crews worked to repair a track fault near Huntingdale.

Buses replaced trains on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines between Westall and Oakleigh. Trains will continued to operate between Oakleigh and Flinders Street, with delays to the service.

V/Line trains operated between Bairnsdale, Traralgon and Pakenham only. Passengered changed to a Metro Trains service between Pakenham and Southern Cross.

Motorists are asked to be vigilant for extra pedestrians and buses around train stations on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines.

Real-time traffic conditions are available at traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au or via the VicTraffic mobile app. The latest public transport information and network status is available at ptv.vic.gov.au or in the PTV mobile app.
