Now in its 112th year, the Parklea Pakenham Agricultural, Horticultural and Multicultural Show is set to be one of the calendar events of the year.

The show – which is free to attend – is on Saturday 18 March at the PB Ronald Reserve (Henry and John Streets), Pakenham.

The show brings the community together under the one umbrella with our diverse and multicultural communities, as well as the rich farming history of the area, and acknowledging the agricultural and horticultural traditions that have existed in the region since its foundation.

There’s something for everyone with exhibitions including all your favourite farm animals, flowers and fresh produce, cooking, art and craft classes, rides, and entertainment. You can also show off your skills and win prizes by entering one of the many competitions including the biggest vegetable, scarecrow, photography, Lego building, gumboot and paper plane.

Major attractions this year will be the ever popular Reptile Encounters where you will be given the opportunity to get up close to some weird and wonderful Australian reptiles throughout the day.
